This session is focused on technologies and instrumentation of planetary landing vehicles. This includes e.g. sensors and instruments, power systems, telecomms, command and data management systems as well as entry, descent and landing systems.

Several planetary landing missions are currently being developed and planned. Emphasis will be put on papers discussing the specific issues in existing systems in operation and systems in an advanced stage of development, but there will be room also for papers on future instruments and enabling technologies where they have direct applications in their respective areas. In addition, generic talks discussing design principles, miniaturisation, component selection and calibration are most welcome.
