Using different Grid infrastructures or High Performance Computing (HPC) and projects, there are many geosciences applications ported on to the Grid or HPC. The applications use super computers as well as PC farms and clusters or single CPUs.
This session gives geoscientists a unique opportunity to share knowledge and different experiences and to provide examples to other geoscientists that are not already aware of the benefits to use Grid and HPC.
