The critical zone of the Earth is the zone at the Earth’s surface which is critical for the future of our development. This session welcomes presentations on the chemistry, physics and biology of the
critical zone and aims at comparing the different methods and analyses that will able us to understand more about soils, rivers, groundwaters, deep biosphere and their interplay. New data, numerical models, monitoring techniques at all scales of space and time as well as imaging techniques of will be appreciated.
