Worldwide, there are successions of sedimentary rocks which cannot easily be correlated by normal biostratigraphic means. This session aims to provide a forum where we can discuss geochemical (whole rock or mineralogical) means to understanding stratigraphical evolution and correlation, as well as applications in sediment provenance studies.
