This session is devoted to the Mw = 7 Haiti earthquake that took place on 12 January 2010 on the Enriquillo-Plantain Garden fault and destroyed Port-au-Prince. The purpose of this session is to provide a retrospective on this event, four months after it occurred. The session will include three invited presentations that focus on different aspects of the earthquake, followed by a discussion.
