This session covers all topics relating to the study of the Earth's magnetospheric system, from the inner magnetosphere out to the bow shock and foreshock, as well as magnetosphere-ionosphere coupling. The wide scope of the session encompasses any contribution which does not fit more naturally into one of the other, more specialised, sessions.
