This session invites contributions which explore recent progress in generating probabilistic climate forecasts, covering multi-decadal to multi-centennial time scales. We encourage papers discussing aspects of quantifying and reducing forecast uncertainty -- especially in light of analysing model feedbacks and using (different lines of) observational constraints. We welcome contributions from a hierarchy of climate models, ranging from simple to complex.
