In electromagnetics 2D isotropic approaches for modelling and inversion are standard these days but the subsurface structures are often more complicated than that. Therefore, it is important to include the next level of complexity to the modelling and inversion tools, which could be adding a dimension (3D) or anisotropy or both.
The focus of this session will be on 3D modelling and inversion, and on 2D plus anisotropy modelling and inversion. Contributions ranging from theory to code development to applications and case studies are all welcome.
