Short-course on field instrumentation in research catchments (external) (co-organized)

How to get there: Transportation by bus from Vienna
Costs: There well be a small fee to cover the expenses for transportation etc. Details we follow.

The participants will learn in this hands-on short course how to use, install and maintain sensors and instrumentations that are currently used in catchment hydrology. Participants will do a circuit of experiments within the catchment. These will cover the following instrumentations and measurements:
- Streamflow gauging
- Meteorological instrumentation
- Soil moisture and soil potential measurements
- Groundwater
- Physical water quality

The course will be open to a limited number of participants selected on a first come-first served basis.
