The Deep Sea & Sub-Seafloor Frontier (DS3F) is an EU-funded Coordination Action in its final stage. One main objective is to formulate a White Paper that serves as a roadmap for the European Commission, other funding agencies, NGOs and other bodies for deep sea research over the next decade or two. The townhall assembly will provide a chance to present key aspects of DS3F and may possibly serve to launch the White paper (in draft or final form).
