Geophysical tomography with high-energy particles: recent developments and applications
Convener: D. Gibert  | Co-Conveners: D. J. Marteau , H. Tanaka , D. Carbone
Oral Programme
 / Mon, 23 Apr, 15:30–17:00  / Room 34
Poster Programme
 / Attendance Mon, 23 Apr, 17:30–19:00  / Hall A

The session is meant to make a state-of-the-art account of the emerging geophysical tomography techniques using high-energy particles (cosmic muons, neutrinos). This session will also be a community forum for discussions on both methodological and applicative issues. We welcome speakers working in all applications of particle physics in Earth Sciences like, for instance: global Earth and planetary science, volcanology, archaeology, hydrology, monitoring of underground repositories, and other industrial applications. Presentations and discussions that span different measurement approaches and applications in various geological environments are welcome.
