The main concern of the session is all kinds of sea hazards related to ship operations: extreme storm conditions, collisions with abnormally high and steep solitary waves, etc. The session also considers requirements for ship-design.
Second direction of the session can be described as hazards caused by ship operations. This includes a variety of different problems such as oil spilling, pollution, impact of ship-waves on the beach, etc.
