Over the last years, more and more satellite data on tropospheric composition have become available and are now being used in numerous applications. In this session, we aim at bringing together reports on new or improved data products and their validation as well as studies using satellite data for applications in tropospheric chemistry and air quality. This includes both studies on trace gases and on aerosols.

We welcome presentations based on data from current satellite instruments and also future missions dedicated to tropospheric sounding.
