The numerous space missions (Cluster, THEMIS, RBSP, Geotail, Double Star) and ground based measurements available at Earth in recent years has enabled us to make inroads into the coupling of plasma processes across length scales, being able to distinguish between temporal and spatial variations, to probe micro, meso and macro scale structures and to examine local micro-physics and the macroscopic and system level response. We invite papers that focus on this over-arching theme utilizing the capability of multi-point measurements (both space and ground based) and associated simulations to advance our understanding of space physics.
