CL2.18 Sea level in interglacials and the last deglaciation |
|
|
This session will be concerned with sea level change across the full glacial cycle including times when sea level was higher than today in both glaciated and non-glaciated areas. It will explore the sedimentary evidence of sea level change and examine ice-earth-ocean interactions and their influences on sea level. We will assess how this information can help us constrain projections for future sea level over a range of timescales. The session will include work from the UK NERC- funded projects iGLASS, and “Late Glacial Sea Level Minima” but other contributions are included.
