Convener: Roelof Rietbroek  | Co-Conveners: Michelle Cain , Matthew Agius , Lena Noack , Sam Illingworth
Tue, 14 Apr, 08:30–10:00

There are many things you can actively influence to make your presentation informative, effective and entertaining. To name a few things: posture, clarity in speaking, targeting your audience, using narratives, and making effective presentation material. How well you master those elements, usually only becomes clear when you get up the stage and rehearse in front of your peers.

In this course, we ask a several brave speakers, preferably in the beginning of their career, to present us their upcoming EGU talk. This allows them to rehearse their talk in front of a wide multidisciplinary audience, and we are happy to give feedback on how we viewed it. Furthermore, we hope to serve the rest of the audience by providing plenty of tips and tricks, and we want to give them a platform to actively engage in fruitful discussions on the theme of 'Presenting Science'
