The session is intended to give an opportunity to explore our understanding of nonthermal solar and planetary radio emissions. Observations and interpretations of radio wave measurements recorded by ground-based radio telescopes (e.g., FAST, LOFAR, LOIS, LWA1, UTR-2) and experiments onboard satellites or spacecraft (e.g., Cassini, Juno, Cluster, Demeter, Galileo, Stereo, Ulysses and Wind) are supported. Those measurements should emphasize radiophysics techniques used to investigate the remote magnetic field and the electron density in the emitting source (e.g., solar corona, magnetized auroral region) along the ray path (e.g., the interplanetary medium). Laboratory and experimental studies devoted to the comprehension of the generation mechanisms (e.g., cyclotron maser instability) and the acceleration processes (e.g., Alfven waves) are encouraged. Further preparations, evaluations, investigations, analyses of forthcoming space missions (like Bepi-Colombo, Juice, Resonance, Solar Orbiter, Solar Probe, Taranis) are also welcome.
