Preparing a manuscript for submission to a scientific journal may be hard work during your PhD and throughout your scientific career. However, this is just the start. To get your paper published you also need to deal with editors, reviews, and revisions. Guidelines for these steps after submission of your manuscript are not commonly available.
This short course will shortly recall some basic aspects of paper writing, but will mostly focus on the steps that follow after paper submission. The course will begin with a presentation by Dr. Ross Woods (University of Bristol, UK) that covers the theme “how to get your paper published – dealing with editors, reviews and revisions”. After the presentation there will be plenty of opportunities or questions and discussion. For any additional information, please contact the conveners.
