This event is organized as part of the IAHS Panta Rhei initiative, and is open to Panta Rhei working group members. It will be a mixture of invited presentations and workshop sessions, with the aim of bringing together Panta Rhei scientists to share ideas on research needs and progress within Panta Rhei, and to contribute to current Panta Rhei initiatives.
The program will include:
* Introduction to Panta Rhei, progress to date, future plans
* Invited presentations on topical research in the area of ‘hydrology, society and change’
* Opportunities for participants to give short (3 min) pop-up presentations on Panta Rhei research, projects, opportunities etc
* Break-out workshop groups, including planning/writing an opinion paper, contributing to our ‘Panta Rhei stories’ project to create an online Panta Rhei map, working group own time, and other new initiatives.

The workshop will be held at TU Vienna, Karlsplatz on Sunday 23 April 2017, 10am-5pm.
