EM response of the subsurface can be translated into musical frequencies, by means of simple rules of normalization. Any geological succession will produce a differnt series of notes, so that it is possible to draw a "soundscape". The musical arrangement strictly follows the modality of acquisition by the geophysical equipment (pitches and times).
