The identification of a rock’s lithology is fundamental to hydrocarbons reservoir characterization, the physical and chemical properties of the rock that holds hydrocarbons and/or water affect the response of every tool used to measure formation properties. Understanding reservoir lithology is the foundation from which all other rock physical parameters calculations are made. The aim of this session is to show the latest researches in the rock typing domain. Oral and Poster presentations related to the topic are welcome.
