The Apennines-Tyrrhenian system: Multidisciplinary contributes to the understanding of the tectonic setting, magmatism and geodynamic evolution (co-organized)
Convener: Andrea Brogi  | Co-Conveners: Sveva Corrado , Giacomo Prosser , stefano vitale

The development and evolution of the Apennines and Tyrrhenian Sea is a timely theme, object of controversial interpretations and scientific discussion due to the complexity of the geodynamic evolution of this region from the Tertiary to Present. Contribution to the better understanding of this theme can derive from geophysical, petrologic, geochemical, magmatic, tectonic and sedimentary studies addressed to the reconstruction of the geological processes leading to the pre-, syn- and post-tectonic evolution of this orogeny and surrounding areas. Integration of different methodologies can help to gain useful information for the understanding of such a process.
In this view, this session aims to emphasise integration of data from different methodologies and, at the same time, valorising those studies deriving from classical approaches. Any kind of contribution is therefore welcome.
