The central focus of ECAM is the application of meteorology for society. The conference will provide a platform where the meteorological community can exchange their ideas, results, needs, demands and aims for now and the future. This year the focus will be on High resolution applications and services, and in particular we encourage reports on the development and use of innovative technologies and services in all application sectors.

For this session "High resolution meteorology – applications and services" contributions are invited particularly - but not exclusively - on the following sectors:

- Safety / extreme weather
- Energy
- Media
- Health and Air Quality
- Agriculture
- Transport on land and at sea
- cross-sectoral meteorological assistance to local communities
