The solar sail uses the solar radiation pressure momentum for producing thrust. The electric sail is a new space propulsion concept which uses the solar wind momentum for producing thrust. Although both power by solar radiation, the two concepts are using a very different principle. The two techniques will be presented and solar system exploration mission opportunities that may use either concept will be presented. This workshop will include a few invited talks. Oral and poster presentations addressing the workshop topics are solicited. Innovative and challenging ideas are most welcome.
