Impact craters and impact related processes on terrestrial planets/satellites, shock wave modification in minerals, and environmental/biological effects of impacts are subject of the session. Papers from a broad range of research methods, remote sensing, field observations, laboratory experiments, microanalysis, and numerical modeling, will bring together researchers from different disciplines and foster the interdisciplinary character of this important field in planetary research.
