This session solicits contributions on all aspects of stratospheric ozone and the current state of understanding of the chemical and dynamical processes that control the distributions of ozone, temperature, and related trace species. The scope of the session encompasses the chemistry, sources, sinks and budgets of ozone and related trace constituents; analyses of total ozone and vertical ozone profiles; upper troposphere/lower stratosphere aspects; and modeling studies. We particularly welcome presentations addressing trends in stratospheric ozone at all latitudes, the extent of ozone recovery, and prospects for the health of the ozone layer through the 21st century.
