The session "Climate models: Numerics, paramterizations, and data" looks at the current state of numerical climate modeling. It invites contributions ranging from next generation and high resolution climate models, case studies that improve our understanding of its theoretical and numerical foundations, model intercomparison, attribution and causality studies, the parametrization of unresolved or underresolved processes, as well as the development of surrogate models via machine learning and AI for parameter studies, impact studies, and postprocessing of data.
