The Outstanding Young Scientist Award is presented to Junguo Liu for his outstanding contributions in water resources management.

Junguo Liu focuses his research on water and environmental resources management and is also interested in studying crop-water relations on large scales. He is currently an editor of the journal "Hydrology and Earth System Sciences" and serves as a committee member of the World Academy of Young Scientists.
