Session is focusing to historical (pre-WWII) topographic maps and map systems from Europe, their geo-referencing methods and their quantitative applications in all fields of the environmental geosciences. Contributions about GIS interpretation of old geodetic networks are also welcome.
Preliminary agreement was accepted to publish the selected contributions in the Acta Geodaetica et Geophysica Hungarica (ISI-impacted by Thompson from 2009).
