For the open session contributions concerning all aspects of the ocean circulation are welcome, reaching from regional to global scale. In particular, this year we would like to encourage studies
focussing on the deep and abyssal ocean interior flow field. As usual the OS1 seesion also encourages submissions that do not fit to any of the other special sessions.
