This goal of this session is to examine if and how rapid climate change can affect the stratigraphic architecture of different settings. The aim is to bring together stratigraphers and sedimentologists working on recent and ancient stratigraphic records of rapid climate change to stimulate a dialogue on the major controls on their architecture.
