Climatic and environmental magnetic (paleo-)signatures in waters, ice, soils, and sediments
Convener: Nicolas Thouveny
Poster Programme
 / Attendance Mon, 03 May, 17:30–19:00  / Hall A

Based on single proxy or on multi-proxy approaches the rock-magnetic methods interact with other rock physics and biogeochemical methods to identify and quantify iron bearing minerals and interpret their environmental and climatic signatures. This poster session aims at gathering rock- and mineral magnetic expertises carried out on modern and paleo-soils under natural or anthropic conditions, or on present and past deposition regimes and diagenesis regimes in rivers, lakes and oceans.
