This session will discuss when and how natural hazards can trigger technological disasters. There are many kinds of TD, including industrial accidents; pipeline ruptures; accidents at lines of communication, etc. that can be caused by earthquakes, floods, or other hazardous processes and phenomena. The main goal of this session is to summarize case studies of relationships between natural hazards and technological disasters and encourage a discussion about their risk managing.
