In this early 2011, several valiant scientific spacecrafts are studying Mars and Moon, both targets for future manned exploration in this century.

Several missions to the icy satellites of the giant planets ,asteroids and comets are also planned or studied. Despite the fact that manned missions beyond the Mars orbit are presently not possible due to radiation constrains, this and other problems will be once solved and the outer solar system will be also considered for manned flight and be part of the exploration programme.

This session will thus consider instrument and missions designed to study the environments and habitability of the entire solar system in an
exploration perspective. It will also consider the policy and strategic aspects of the exploration initiatives.
Original presentations of new mission architectures and new exploration concepts are especially welcome.
