At this meeting the leadership of the European Space Agency’s directorate of Earth Observation Programmes will briefly present its programmes and activities. Through direct interaction with the audience, there will be ample opportunity for questions. Topics to be addressed include scientific achievements and programmatic highlights; the present and future mission fleet; the evolution and future of ESA's Earth Observation program; programmatic drivers and constraints; complementarity with the activities of other major partner space agencies and of the European Union; and ESA's Earth Observation data policy (free access for all). In particular ESA will present its Earth Explorer Missions, the GMES Programme and its Climate Change Initiative.
