Palaeozoic global sea level: linking stratigraphy, bioevents, and the stable isotope record
Oral Programme
 / Mon, 23 Apr, 10:30–12:00  / Room 41
Poster Programme
 / Attendance Mon, 23 Apr, 17:30–19:00  / Hall A

This session is officially dedicated as the IUGS/UNESCO International Geoscience Programme IGCP 591 Project "Early to Middle Palaeozoic Revolution" regional European meeting of 2012.

We invite all the topics from sedimentology to isotopic and palaeontological record; a multidisciplinary approach is particularly encouraged. The main scientific goal of the IGCP 591 project is to bridge the Gap between the Great Ordovician Biodiversification Event and the Devonian Terrestrial Revolution. Ideally, this session will eventually tackle the Early to Middle Palaeozoic sea level changes, and relate them to climatic and bioevents during this dynamic interval in the history and evolution of life and our planet.
