The Ralph Alger Bagnold Medal is awarded to Gregory E. Tucker for his innovative modeling and field studies leading to fundamental advances in our understanding of the way processes and landscape elements interact in the genesis of landforms as well as for providing new insights on the importance of the temporal variability of the driving forces of geomorphic systems.
