The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (AvH), the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the Fraunhofer Society join forces and organise events to present German innovation and research abroad. The purpose of their joint effort is to strengthen and expand R&D collaboration between Germany and other countries and to foster the mobility among scientists. These activities are part of the initiative “Research in Germany – Land of Ideas”, which is funded by theFederal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
Germany’s manifold and highquality research landscape in the field of geosciences as well as funding and network options will be presented.
