Vegetation and atmosphere interactions are driven by stress responses. Those include the emission of volatile organic compounds and the resulting boundary layer chemistry, i.e. reduction of oxidants and formation of aerosol particles including number and mass. This impacts not only on aerosol formation but also on aerosol-cloud-climate interactions. Any experimental as well as modelling contribution is welcome in this context.
