Progress in understanding Neoproterozoic pan-glaciations (potential Snowball Earth episodes) (posters only)
Convener: A. Voigt  | Co-Convener: Y. Donnadieu
Poster Programme

Poster Summaries & DiscussionsPSD9.2

Recent years have seen dramatic progress in our understanding of the
global or nearly global glaciations during the Neoproterozoic. It is
therefore timely for researchers in this field to meet to review
advances and outline avenues for future research. The purpose of this
session is to provide a forum for all scientists interested in
Neoproterozoic glaciations. In particular we invite studies related
to: initiation and termination of Neoproterozoic glaciations,
conditions during these glaciations, the survival of life through
these glaciations, and the aftermath of Neoproterozoic glaciations. We
encourage both observational and modeling submissions.
