This is the general open session on all aspects of aerosol chemistry and microphysics. The session will have contributions discussing laboratory, field and theoretical work.

This year the session will have a focus on bioaerosols and biogenic secondary organic aerosol (SOA). Contributions will discuss sources, formation processes and particle cloud interactions.

A solicited talk will be given by Ulrich Pöschl, Max Planck Institute for Chemistry, Germany: " Bioaerosols in the Earth System ".
