Fracture networks can significantly affect permeability of a fractured reservoir, hence the definition of fracture network geometry at various scales is becoming an important goal of structural analysis. In this session we seek contributions that present new ways of analysing fracture networks systems of outcrop rocks. Papers are invited who use observations to evaluate discrete fracture network models (DFN).
We are looking for case studies showing how structural geological interpretation can benefit from statistical methods!
