In this session we will examine the most recent data and information from Phanerozoic ophiolites and their soles to evaluate the structural, petrological-geochemical, and P-T-t evidence for their melt generation, tectonic evolution, sole development, and displacement-emplacement kinematics in convergent margin settings. All inter-disciplinary approaches and studies from diverse ophiolite types are welcome.
