This session on geophysical fluid dynamics deals with nonlinear gravity wave processes of any scale, wave-related instabilities and wave-turbulence interactions for homogeneous and stratified flows. The areas of interest include surface gravity waves, internal waves, wave generation by currents in ocean and atmosphere. Numerical, theoretical and experimental contributions are welcome.
