Soil maps and classification systems provide important insights into the state of our field at various times during its history. It is also very important to consider this history as we move forward with digital soil mapping and as we pursue efforts to provide some continuity in global soil classification. This session welcomes submissions that deal with any aspect of soil mapping, classification, and modeling, including tools, scales, and concepts.
