COST Action TU1208 "Civil Engineering Applications of Ground Penetrating Radar" focuses on the exchange of scientific-technical knowledge and experience of Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) techniques in civil engineering.
It also aims at promoting throughout Europe the effective use of this safe and non-destructive inspection method. The Action is establishing and strengthening active links between universities, research institutes, companies and end users working in this field, fostering and accelerating its long-term development in Europe.
About 150 members from 27 European Countries, Australia, Egypt, Hong Kong, Japan, Rwanda and USA are involved in the Action or are completing the procedure to join it.
This Splinter Meeting hosts the Management Committee Meeting of COST Action TU1208 and is open also to all its Working Group Members.
During the meeting, the Management Committee will devise the general Action's strategy for the second year of its lifetime. It will manage the organisation of the Action’s scientific and technological activities to be carried out during the next months.
