This splinter meeting aims at the presentation and demonstration of commonly available visualization tools, which are especially well suited to analyze earth science data sets. Both NCAR/UCAR and DKRZ have many years of experience in the visualization of climate data sets, and the goal of this workshop is to pass this knowledge on to you. We will explain and demonstrate the tools we work with in our daily routine, and show you how to create effective and meaningful visualizations.
