Our session “Dynamics and chemistry of the upper troposphere and stratosphere: observations and models” is a long-running element of the AS programme. As in previous years we invite presentations that cover the whole spectrum of upper tropospheric and stratospheric composition-climate research, including interactions. We are looking forward hearing about new measurements (using in-situ or remote sensing methods) and their interpretation and about new modelling studies (using a range of different models) trying to understand composition-climate interactions.

Our solicited speaker is Dr Neil Harris from the University of Cambridge, who will present highlights from the recent CAST campaign.
