In our session we will discuss:
- Mechanisms of metabolic changes in plants under recent and past climatic and environmental changes, “old problems” and new challenges.
-We will focus on plant physiology, dendrochronology, phenology, ecology, stable isotope and compound-specific isotope analyses
- Response of trees to extreme climatic and environmental changes
- Modeling approaches in tree ring and stable isotope studies
