The Energy Resources and Environment Division encompasses a wide range of topics that directly impact governance and policy. In this session we aim to bring together policymakers, governmental agencies and researchers both in academia and industry in order to tackle current and future societal challenges. Presentations are invited on all topical geoscience themes, ranging from current government practices or recommended best practices, relevant scientific evidence through examples of (geo) science based policymaking.
